Tonight was my first time photographing a lunar eclipse! This is a composite of some of the images that I took.

Photo details: Nikon D70, 300mm f2 lens with a 1.4x teleconverter. The exposures ranged from 1/5000 of a second up to 4 seconds.

The colors in this eclipse were fascinating! Not only did I see the red of the eclipse, but before totality, in the shadows there were blue and green hues that were observed. Absolutely stunning!
