Summary: All month long the
brightest planets have delighted sky watchers with an eye-catching
gathering in the western sky.
It was never better than May 14th when the crescent Moon (illuminated
by Earthshine) glided by brilliant
Venus. The pair were easy
to see even before the Sun set.
