After heading out to photograph jupiter after sundown, i stuck around just looking up the sky was so clear, suddenly out of nowhere a band appeared which looked like a contrail of a jet because it split the sky from east to west, the problem was it was green and dancing in curved line, then looking north and to my surprize i noticed some northern lights over our town,Finally i said to myself we haven't had them for months here in northern Ontario canada,So i staid there for 3 hours and took 200 photos, with my Canon XTi and a 28mm/f2.8 Ebay lense i got for 25$. most of the pics are 10-15 seconds, at iso-800. the most amazing thing was the purple tinge mixed with green and other colors.Enjoy them as i did.
