AR 1087 has settled down today, but it still presents a killer view at the eyepiece of a hydrogen alpha telescope. its chock full of interesting details-fibrils, filaments, and plage, oh boy! i captured this image at 2003 UT on 15 july 2010 using a double stacked lunt 75mm hydrogen alpha filter, a takahashi tsa 102 refractor, and a dmk ccd
