Tonight's pass of this Air Force space plane was nearly overhead for us in mid-Missouri, and our photo shows the X-37B making a ten-second streak through the stars of Bootes. Cropped image was made with a tripod-mounted Canon 5D-Mk-II camera with a 50mm, f/1.2L lens working at f/2.8. Exposure was 10 seconds at ISO-1250. Gary Ehrhardt, a scientist at the MU nuclear reactor, provided the camera and lens for this shot.
