Ras Lanuf, Libya
It was a fine morning here in Ras Lanuf, Libya, on the Mediterranean coast. The eclipse was at maximum around 10:00 GMT+2 with about 55% magnitude. This filter-in-hand self portrait was the easiest I could do, as the Sun was already 23 degrees high in the sky. I used a Canon EOS 5D camera at ISO 50 and a 24 mm f/1.4 lens at f/4 for this 1/1000-second exposure. Close-up at maximum with 100-400 lens at 400 mm f/5.6, 1/1000-second exposure with filter.
