Details:
It was a quiet and peaceful friday evening until my parents made me aware of the aurora borealis dancing on the sky. No time to change clothes! I ran out into the deep snow wearing only sweatpants and sneakers. My camera was brought along and now it was time to find a location with less light pollution. Struggeling through deep snow I finnaly found a suitable place to start shooting the dancing aurora. A cold but wonderful experience! Camera equipment used: Canon 450D, Canon 10-22mm f/3.5-5.6 and tripod. Settings: Iso 1600, f3.5 and f5.6, 10mm, 30 sec shutterspeed and mirror lockup.
