You say hello and I say good-bye ... Our solar system's largest and smallest planets are currently engaged in an orbital dance that will place them side-by-side by Tuesday evening. As Jupiter sinks closer to the horizon, Mercury rises higher above it. By next week, Jupiter will be gone from the evening sky. Tonight, I managed to catch the pair against the dramatic colors of sunset.
