This is a DAYTIME shot of a 2 day old moon with Venus peeking through the clouds. The moon is in the upper left, and Venus in the lower right. While showing Venus through the 8" refractor I often like to point out to visitors that they can see Venus during the day without a telescope, but today we had the added challenge of a young moon close by. Taken with a Nikon D80, 2ms exposure. I cropped the image to frame the targets a little better.
