Got to see the partial part of the total lunar eclipse this morning through breaks in low cloud cover. Before totality the moon disappeared as the skies began to brighten with the rising sun. I got to see a colourful sunrise as well which was caused by volcanic ash from Chile in the upper atmosphere. It was certainly a nice way to start the day.
