Westman Islands, Iceland
It was my first time seeing northern lights in Iceland since I arrive here in May. They were not spectacular but still beautiful, green curtains and pillars dancing slowly through the still bright midnight sky. We could even see the ripples on the lights: so cool! Our place were the Westman Islands which are a volcanic group of islands about 20km south of famous volcano Eyjafjallajökull. Kodak M320 digital camera, 4s exposure
