Details:
The comet is just visible to the naked eye from my relatively dark sky site. Although the size and shape of the coma is reminiscent of Comet Holmes in 2007, it is nowhere near as impressive, although still a treat through a telescope. With the Moon not setting until around 05:00 EDT this morning, I had a very narrow window of opportunity to image this today on its closest approach to Earth. Image details: Single 90-second exposure with an 80 mm Apo refractor and Canon 350D.
