While waiting for the Aurora to show up I did some stargazing. I were on my way inside when I saw the weak shimmering green lights at about 1000UTC on August the 3rd. This picture is one of the best taken at 0005UTC on August the 4th. After that the intensity dropped because of the illumination of the approaching sun. Taken with a Canon EOS 500D with the kit lens at 18mm ISO 800 F5 Exposure 5 seconds.
