Location:
Kleifarvatn lake, near Seltun, Iceland
Details:
These images were taken on a photographic trip to Iceland. These were the first auroral displays I had seen. The display was visible for more than three hours with a think band almost overhead and changing curtain displays to the north of this band. A truly amazing sight to witness. Photo details : Canon 50D DSLR, 800ASA, 30s exposure, Sigma 20mm lens at f2.2
