NDSM wharf, Amsterdam harbour, Netherlands
The super harvest moon and Jupiter in conjunction with the legendary Phoenix bird in the harbour of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. The huge wooden bird is being constructed for the Amsterdam Robodock art and music festival that will take place this weekend. This year it is 100 years ago that Igor Stravinsky premiered his ballet "The Firebird" ("L'Oiseau de Feu") in Paris. At the Robodock festival sculptors, musicians and pyrotechnicians from all over the world come together to perform their version of the firebird ballet. Photo details: Nikon D300 with 24mm Nikkor lens, 2 second exposure at 400 ISO and diaphragm F/8.
