Kiel, Northern Germany
Today night I've tried to capture my first Auroras in my life - with luck. I observed from Kiel in Northern Germany (54° 20' N). Around local midnight (22:00 UT) the auroras starts to intensify for 15-20 minutes, so that they were visible to the naked eye. The Pictures were taken at 21:57 UT and 21:58 UT with 25 sec of exposure. It was a really exciting show.
