After a night imaging planetary nebulae I was going upstairs to bed and glanced out toward the growing twilight. A small bright display of NLCs was low on the horizon. I photographed it using a Lumix DMC-FZ7 with a 1.5 second exposure at 400ASA. When I tried longer exposures it was blurred as the display was changing very fast, drifting east-west rapidly and changing shape over seconds. 15 minutes later it was all over. Glad to see them again.
