We have three hour "window to the sky", it was cloudy maximum night of Perseids 2010, but at 00-03am our time was quite clear. We saw 87 Perseids and some are very bright, e.g. one whose trail I imaged. Good show. Here is an animation of the trail.

A late perseid and Jupiter shined through the clouds last night. Canon DSLR, 24mm TS-e, 2o sec. exposure. Took more than 800 shots over 5 hours, 9 with meteors.
