From New Zealand this was a partial solar eclipse with about 76% obscuration of the solar disc.

Interesting, during the eclipse a solar flare emanating from AR1613 appeared.

Image details: Coronado 90+BF30 filter, WO 102 ED f/7 refractor, AP 0.67x focal reducer and a DMK51 video camera were used to capture these images.
