Details:
These are shots taken through a 4-inch f/6 refractor telescope showing aspects of the total eclipse, November 14, 2012 -- the diamond rings, and inner and outer corona. We were at a site well north of the centreline, near Lakeland Downs, on the Mulligan Highway Development Road, thus the asymmetric diamond rings, with second contact at the 6 oclock position but the third contact diamond ring above the 9 oclock position. We saw 1m 28s of totality but under skies hampered only by some thin cirrus cloud. No worries about dark obscuring clouds for us!
