With the weather in Cairns wasnt promising, we decided to go inland to Mareeba, with a slighter shorter duration of 1m 39s. We were lucky because the sky here was clear and free from clouds. With the Moon so low to the horizon, this eclipse seems larger than usual, due to the Moon Illusion effect. This shot was taken during the 2nd diamond ring when it approaches the 3rd contact
